The incredible success of the previous editions of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival has enhanced the anticipation for Season 7, which starts on1st December 2013 and concludes on 15th January 2014. A 45 days shopping fete, the seventh edition of GKSF promises to be bigger, broader and better. The government of Kerala is offering a 100% VAT refund to tourists from outside the state who visit and shop in Kerala during season 7. To make the festival popular and encourage more shops and business establishments, this year Free Registration is offered to all. A MoU has been signed with Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi (KVVES), the largest trade organization in India, to increase a target of 1 lakh registrations during Season 7 from last year's 6,000 participants. The service of KVVES will also be used for Merchant Registration and coupon distribution.
The Mega lucky draw prize for GKSF Season 7 is Rs. 1. Crore as bumper prize, Rs. 10 lakh as second prize, Rs. 5 lakh third prize and Rs. 1 lakh as fourth prize.
